Set to release tomorrow (January 14!), Amazon Games’ Lost Ark and its “Thaemine Extreme” update is set to bring a new Thaemine Extreme Event Raid, the Nukman’s Illusion Stone, and the Guardian’s Call Event.
Scope out the highlights of this Lost Ark January update below, and catch up on the nitty-gritty via its official blog post.
Thaemine Extreme Event Raid
Serving as the most powerful Demon Legion Commander, all those that dive into Lost Ark can experience an extreme version of the fan favorite Gate 4.
While seemingly similar to the original Thaemine Hard Gate 4, Lost Ark’s Thaemine Extreme will feature adjusted difficulty and patterns.
This Lost Ark raid can be entered once per week per roster, and will be around for a limited time.
Note that it will offer first clear rewards and a set of weekly rewards through an Event NPC Shop.
Guardian’s Call Event
With the return of Lost Ark’s Guardian’s Call Event, players will be able t defeat Guardians for increased rewards that include Gold, Processed Destiny Stones, and Astrogems.
Updates have also been implemented, designed to help with various progression systems.
Note that this Lost Ark event applies to the Tier 4 Guardians: Argeos, Skolakia, Drextalas, and Krathios.
Chaos Gate Event
Available in Lost Ark through February 4, players will be able to defeat a new type of enemy within Chaos Gates to receive special pouches containing valuable rewards.
These Lost Ark rewards range from Relic Engravings and Astrogems to event coins, alongside special tokens that can be traded at the event coin show.
Note that the Lost Ark event coin shop will come loaded with special event cosmetics, astrogem tickets, and chests.
Nukman’s Illusion Stone
A new type of collectible item will be introduced in Lost Ark in the form of Nukman’s Illusion Stone.
Nukeman’s illusion stone is set to open after completion of the “In Search of the Riddle’s Answer” adventure quest, offering up valuable rewards in exchange for Illusion Stones.
Day and Night Minister Ark Pass
Finally, Lost Ark players interested in additional rewards and cosmetics can exchange Royal Crystals for two premium reward tracks.
On that note, the Premium Ark Pass adds rewards at all 30 levels earned alongside the free rewards.
In addition to the Regular and Premium rewards, the Super Premium Ark Pass weaves the Day and Night Minister skins, CA-T pet, Cog Spirit mount and an Epic Astrogem Selection Chest through the Ark Pass.
