Where they from?
Spain. Man, fuck the Patriots. With all the horrible things happening in the world right now the last thing we need is New England in another Super Bowl. Robert Kraft is probably so happy right now, I’m sick to my stomach.
Why the hype?
Convulsions have been a favorite of mine for a while now. The band consistently churns out some of the most severe and harrowing crust-influenced grind with a nice little sprinkling of groove parts among the madness to keep the listener on their toes. There is no better soundtrack for a world battling fascism in its many forms than this band’s music.
Latest release?
Split with Eraser, Rødel Records. The band blasts through a furious five minutes on their split EP with the equally excellent Eraser from Italy. This release is the perfect slab of grindcore fury to keep you warm through the next snowstorm and potential New England football resurgence. God, I fucking hate Tom Brady.
