Philosophical RPG World of Dabado Revealed

Created for everyone who loves old school RPGs, Viktor Mazhlekov has revealed their hand-drawn story-driven RPG World of Dabado.

Entirely hand-drawn, World of Dabado sets out to immerse players in its rich fantasy world filled with secrets, mysteries, and deep philosophical narrative. 

Following the story of Agomo, players will awaken on the titular shores of Dabado island after their boat was wrecked in a storm. From there, players will meet Dabado’s mystical inhabitants, solve quests, craft items, and complete dozens of puzzles.

“Creating World of Dabado is the culmination of many passions in my life.

From my most cherished memories as a gamer with role-playing games such as Gemstone Warrior, Baldur’s Gate, Planescape Torment, and Fallout to my primary profession as an artist, World of Dabado brings these together in a way that will push me to my limits but also be my ultimate expression as an artist. 

I hope the extremely laborious process of drawing each location on cardboard with pencils and watercolors gives the world charm, uniqueness, and vitality.”
