Narrative-Driven 3D Adventure The House of Hikmah Launching April 8

Exploring the topics of grief, legacy, and the search for answers after profound loss, Lunacy Studios will release their narrative-driven 3D adventure The House of Hikmah April 8.

The House of Hikmah tells the story of the young 14-year-old Maya, who visits the mystical House of Wisdom seeking both answers and solace. 

Featuring a number of physics-based puzzles, The House of Hikmah lets players use an ancient elemental heirloom that allows Maya to glide through wind channels and bend the matter of objects and structures to traverse the environment.

“We want to create a universally relatable story representing the difficult yet hopeful journey through grief.

One of the ways we’ve achieved this is through Maya’s many interactions with the scholars. 

Their inclusion gave us not only an opportunity to showcase how her father’s life and his lessons had a significant impact on those around him, but it also enabled us to create representation for the Islamic Golden Age which has never been seen before in games.”
