The team at Com2uS has major updates planned for both MLB 9 Innings 26 and MLB RIVALS this year, with the latter being rebranded as MLB 9 Innings Rivals 26.
When it comes to MLB 9 Innings 26, rising star Paul Skenes will join the game as a new cover athlete alongside returning superstar Mike Trout and MLB legend Clayton Kershaw.
On that note, MLB 9 Innings 26 players can recruit Kershaw as a Supreme-type player through Historic Packs starting April 1.
A number of gameplay enhancements have also been made to MLB 9 Innings 26, including a new Club Level system, a mission-based progression feature, and new cinematic animations for elements like walk-off wins, inning transitions, and game-deciding plays.
Meanwhile, the rebranded MLB 9 Innings Rivals 26 was done to align the title with the company’s flagship 9 Innings franchise, strengthening brand recognition across its different baseball titles.
MLB 9 Innings Rivals 26 is set to feature a number of Opening Day events, including a daily Check-in Event.
Players can also take advantage of the Opening Day Daily Mission Event that has players earning rewards like Highlight FA Player Cards and other in-game items.Â
A Moment Player Acquisition Event is also underway in MLB 9 Innings Rivals 26, allowing players to unlock high-performance Moment Players by completing missions and collecting milestone rewards.
