Dune: Awakening Coming to Consoles September 22

As it was written, Funcom’s acclaimed Dune: Awakening will make its way to both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on September 22.

All content and improvements since Dune: Awakening’s PC launch will be included with the console releases, in addition to optimized UI and controls. Players can also take advantage of Performance (60fps, default) and Quality graphic modes.

Funcom CEO Rui Casais said the following:

“This release is so much more than just bringing the game to consoles.

To Funcom, it’s a major milestone, the result of over a year of work that culminates in the release of a new and improved Dune: Awakening. 

The best version yet of Dune: Awakening, on PC and console.”

Creative Director Joel Bylos also said the following:

“For those who want to take a deeper dive on Arrakis, Dune: Awakening offers the ultimate opportunity to step into the books and movies and experience one of science fiction’s most iconic worlds up close.

For fans of the movies, we also have tie-in content lined up this year.”

One can now pre-order Dune: Awakening for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.  Dune: Awakening will be available with Xbox Game Pass beginning September 22!
