Featuring a brave mouse, Hela: Of Mice & Magic lets players venture forth on an enchanting adventure inspired by the Northern Sweden wilderness.

While said mouse is small, one can make a big impact as they traverse forests, lakes, and mountains as they overcome any and all challenges.

Packing the right tools for the job, said mouse has a handy-dandy Froggy backpack that helps with traversal. Providing a new perspective on things, Froggy helped us glide around its world with relative ease.

On that note, Hela: Of Mice & Magic’s lush world is just waiting to be explored. Rewarding curiosity and removing frustration, one can play their own way – and on their own time.

Controls are intuitive in Hela: Of Mice & Magic, with its robust physics system allowing for unique opportunities – we even saw some stylin’ skateboarding tricks during our co-op session!

That leads to another point – Hela: Of Mice & Magic features full drop-in, drop-out multiplayer. While one can certainly travel solo, support for local split-screen and up to four players in online co-op is also included.

Hela: Of Mice & Magic also keeps things unique with its Shade System, allowing players to create magical copies that help with puzzle solving and interactions.

That’s ultimately what made us fall in love with Hela: Of Mice & Magic – its sense of discovery.

The title’s a looker, and it’s fun to team up – there’s no denying that! However, Hela: Of Mice & Magic truly channels that sense of wanderlust always found in the most addictive of titles.

While Hela: Of Mice & Magic features a tiny little mouse, we’re all too eager to immersive ourselves in its giant world later this year – Froggy backpack in tow.

Hela: Of Mice and Magic will release for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store this year.
