Featuring fledgling monster wranglers Bianca and Nera, Square Enix has released new details around DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS: The Withered World’s different abilities, its Synthesis system, and more.
DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS: The Withered World will let players tap into the “Wrangler’s Spirit” ability. Featuring a chance to be triggered during battle, it provides stat boosts to one’s party.
DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS: The Withered World also features a Synthesis system, one that allows players to combine two monsters to create a new creature.
Through careful planning, offspring can inherit talents from their parents and one can create powerful Monsters to bolster their ranks. Those who practice strategic Synthesis can also increase a creature’s Plus Value, leading to improved base attributes or even a higher-ranked monster than either of the parents.
DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS: The Withered World is set to release for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (via both Steam and the Microsoft Store) on December 3.
Note that those who pre-order DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS: The Withered World as of this writing can get themselves the Adventure Starter Set. Included is 10x Monster Munchie, 3x Bonus Balls, and 5x Seeds of Skill!
