Desert-Noir Detective Adventure The Final Cut of Lilith Cunningham Revealed

Drawing inspiration from David Lynch, Lord Huron, and strange fiction stylings, Causeway Studios and Phantom Friends have announced their new desert-noir detective adventure The Final Cut of Lilith Cunningham.

Based on a real attraction found in Colorado’s San Luis Valley, The Final Cut of Lilith Cunningham will task players with investigating a mass vanishing as they unravel a tangled web of deceit. 

Players will be able to use a mystical Film Reel as one’s instrument, tearing through the fabric of reality as they rewrite it and determine what happened – and what will happen.

Causeway Studios Creative Director Greg Rogers said the following:

“With The Haunting of Joni Evers, I wanted to get players’ feet wet in The Worlds Across the Causeway and establish our approach to deeply human and personal storytelling.

The Final Cut of Lilith Cunningham elevates our design ambitions, diving deeper into our metaphorical lake, to tell a truly surreal story with tactile gameplay. We hope players spend time drying out on the shoreline to process their choices. 

Along the way, they’ll need to contemplate how far they’ll go to escape their guilt, and what (and perhaps who) will be left on the cutting room floor.”
