Designing a fun and playful kitchen provides the opportunity to experiment with bold colour, whimsical shape, and deliberately clashing finishes.
Start with cabinetry in a bold colour, and either a laminate or stone benchtop in a similar hue, then consider a contrasting tiled splash back, and textured paint surfaces.
There’s no excuse for boring hardware with this style, which lends itself to wiggly, wavy, arching, angular or curvaceous cabinetry handles.
