Silent Hill: Ascension Premiering November 1

The haunts continue tomorrow with the release of Genvid Entertainment and Konami Digital Entertainment’s Silent Hill: Ascension across multiple platforms.

Set to release November 1, Silent Hill: Ascension tasks audiences with making daily decisions. Not only do said decisions impact the story, but puzzles and other elements will also be factored in. Choices are available at a minimum of 24 hours, so fans worldwide can participate each day without being there live.

Note that the first decision is already available and will impact the outcome of the first scenes in the livestream. This will include the fate of Rachel Hernandez.

SILENT HILL: Ascension | The Essentials

According to Jacob Navok, CEO of Genvid:

“Audiences will experience SILENT HILL: Ascension for the first time tonight and we have no idea what choices they will make, or how it will end. It’s a perfect time for Halloween where the community will shape this one-of-a-kind horror series over the course of the next several months. We’re thrilled by the enthusiasm we’ve seen thus far that has propelled SILENT HILL: Ascension to over 1M pre-registrations globally between Google Play and the App Store.”Jacob Navok

Stephan Bugaj, Chief Creative Officer of Genvid Entertainment, added:

“We’ve put a lot of effort crafting the story of the Johansen and Hernandez families, working with Konami Digital Entertainment to expand the SILENT HILL lore in intriguing ways. Creating a story where collective audience choices will determine the canonical ending has never been done before.”Stephan Bugaj

Motoi Okamoto, producer of the SILENT HILL series at Konami Digital Entertainment, said the following:

“Today is special because SILENT HILL: Ascension is the first project in the resurrection of the SILENT HILL franchise. I am very proud of this project as the SILENT HILL series producer and I am sure that you will love it.”Motoi Okamoto

A pre-show event will also make an appearance hosted by Greg Miller and Kinda Funny. During this segment, fans can get ready for this series by chatting with a chat featuring the series’ creators. One can tune in on the Silent Hill: Ascension app, at Ascension.com, and finally on Kinda Funny’s YouTube and Twitch channels.

The app can be downloaded on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. Alternatively, one can watch at Ascension.com.
