Dune: Spice Wars Coming to Xbox November 28

Combining 4X and real-time strategy game elements, Shiro Games and Funcom’s Dune: Spice Wars will come to the Xbox Series X|S on November 28.

In the past year of its Early Access period, Dune: Spice Wars has featured six major updates. These have brought to the title multiple new playable factions, new features, balancing, quality of life, and different requests from the community.

Based on Frank Herbert’s Dune, this title features familiar faces like Duke Leto Atreides, the Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, the Padishah Emperor Shaddam IV, Esmar Tuek, and Liet Kynes.

Players will be able to take part in 4X gameplay in real time as they balance open warfare, subterfuge, political influence, and economic supremacy to get ahead on the desert planet of Arrakis.

Selecting from one of six iconic factions from the Dune universe (including the Atreides, Harkonnen, or Fremen), players can take part in 2v2 matches in Dune: Spice Wars, or can alternatively face each other in a free-for-all of up to four players.
