The Thaumaturge Delayed to February 20

Developed by Fool’s Theory and published by 11 bit studios, The Thaumaturge is now scheduled to release on February 20.

Originally set to release on December 5, the team saw the opportunity to add more polish and quality to the title. This delay will give the team the chance to take advantage of some extra time to help make this a reality.

An isometric RPG, The Thaumaturge features a unique take on turn-based combat. Its world is home to strange ethereal beings called Salutors, which thaumaturges can tame. The protagonist Wiktor Szulski is one such thaumaturge, who sets out to explore 20th-century Warsaw to see the twisted world for what it really is.

Along the way, players will be able to influence and manipulate the temperaments of others to bend their will to one’s liking. When it comes to combat, players can take down enemies with human attacks and skills, along with psychic strikes delivered by Salutors.
