A meticulous, from-the-ground-up remake of 1997’s Riven: The Sequel to Myst, the team at Cyan Worlds announced that Riven will come out for both flatscreen and VR platforms this year.
Leveraging Unreal Engine 5, Cyan Worlds has set to recreate and expand on Riven with development focused on delivering native experiences across multiple platforms that all sets out to provide a deep sense of immersion.
Riven will feature new puzzles, expanded storylines, and cutting-edge visuals. The team has set out to make sure that the player’s experience is unique and memorable, whether one is a longtime fan or a newcomer to the series. No matter where one may lie, they’ll be able to experience puzzles that have been nwoven throughout its narrative.
