Now available in Fatshark’s Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, its new Skitarii Class brings a wealth of legendary weapons and a non-linear talent tree ripe for exploration.
Constructed for war, see how players can Praise the Omnissiah with our Skitarii class preview…
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Skitarii Class Preview – Constructed for War!
Rebuilt from the ground up, the Skitarii feature a number of augments to become Divine Mechanisms of War – albeit still human at their purest essence.
On that note, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Skitarii – and their many augments – are in the player’s hands.
With its character customization elements, players can choose the material of arms and legs to include elements like corrosion – something designed to help players connect with their Skitarii.
While the character customization elements are cosmetic, the Skitarii Class also possesses the right tools for the job with a completely new set of weapons.
With their inclusion, players can utilize Arc weapons, Phosphor Blasters, Transonic Blades, and Galvanic Rifles. The Skitarii can also tap into a non-linear Talent tree more akin to a wheel or cog.
As a result, those that choose the Skitarii class can do pretty much whatever they want, choosing not to opt-into certain elements. The system has been designed to be very open and player driven, letting players serve a number of different roles.
Rounding things out, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide’s Skitarii feature a Servo-Skull at one’s side. Hovering along, it can aid in the fight.
With its non-linear elements, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide players can truly channel the Wrath of the Machine God however they see fit with the new Skitarii class constructed for war.
