Hot Wheels: Infinite Rush Review

After feeling “Unleashed” (twice!), Milestone is upping the ante with their new open-world adventure Hot Wheels: Infinite Rush.

Featuring a Hot Wheels-sized world with four islands ripe for exploration, see whether players should feel the need for speed with our review…

Hot Wheels: Infinite Rush Review

Featuring an open-world setting, Hot Wheels Infinite Rush’s world is ripe for exploration.

Choosing between Titan (pure power), Drifter (speed through corners), Speeder (pure velocity), and Versatile (all-rounder) rides, this racer features four unique islands to explore. With spots featuring names like Tentacle Bay and Gearville, you just know Hot Wheels: Infinite Rush is pure play.

Talking “play” (how’s that for a segue?), Hot Wheels: Infinite Rush truly lets players play their own way…

Want to rise the ranks and be the very best (like no one ever was)? Test your might as you take on Daredevils and Rush Masters alike.

Want to collect Coins to collect more than 100 different cars for one’s Garage? Hit up those different Dealerships each island to get the wheels you want with your hard-earned coins.

Want to truly immerse yourself in its Photo Mode and customization options? Dress to impress.

Really want to be creative? Make sure to tap into its Track Builder is the ultimate feature to channel your inner over-the-top architect.

No matter what you pursue, Hot Wheels: Infinite Rush requests just one thing from its players:

“Have fun!”

Along the way, Hot Wheels: Infinite Rush’s racing elements will have players taking advantage of Boosts, Drifts, Dash sideswipes, and other arcade-style elements.

Players can just as easily go for better Medal Rankings and rise the ranks, but can alternatively cool their jets (and boosters) as they take the time. Despite the name, there’s no need to feel rushed in Hot Wheels: Infinite Rush’s island paradise – unless you want to.

On that same note, Hot Wheels: Infinite Rush features plenty of options as players dash, drift, and race on their claim to Fame. While we primarily played Hot Wheels: Infinite Rush solo, modes like Quick Race, Time Attack, Elimination, and the aptly-named Drift Master can be played both Online and Offline, with split-screen available for multiple options.

Whether taking on Daredevils or tapping into its deep customization elements, Hot Wheels: Infinite Rush and its vast open world truly lets players race beyond the track.
