It’s yeet or be yeeted – the Galactic Games are coming to Respawn Entertainment and EA’s Apex Legends: Showdown from August 19 to September 9.

Galactic Games Event
This Apex Legends event will turn the new Wildcard mode into a contact sport.
From there, players will be able to test their grip and grit as they start swinging with the Grand Slam Bat, which is available as loot in care package.
Those that land a 3-hit combo or a charged swing will be able to knock enemies out of the park!
Access Powerful Abilities – Wall-Running, Bonus Melee Damage and More
Apex Legends players can hit up Replicators to craft for themselves Wild Cards. From there, they can access powerful abilities like wall-running, extra melee knockback, and bonus melee damage.
Fresh Limited-Time Cosmetics
Apex Legends players can grab Legendary skins for Loba, Sparrow, Bangalore, and more, along with Legendary Weapon Skins for the R-301, Flatline, and more.
This is on top of the new Grand Slam Universal Melee, which is usable by all Legends.
Apex Legends players can also earn Honor, the unique event currency, to unlock items including Event Packs and Epic Apex Packs.
Apex Legends is available as a free-to-play title for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via both the EA app and Steam.
