Costumed Teddiursa and Costumed Noibat Coming to Pokemon GO Beginning October 27

Got your Halloween costume picked out? Starting October 27 in Niantic’s Pokemon GO, Trainers will be able to experience new costumed Pokemon like Costumed Teddiursa and Costumed Noibat.

Running from October 27 at 10am to November 2 at 8pm (local time), Pokemon GO will feature the following costumed Pokemon:

Teddiursa wearing a witch hat

Ursaring wearing a witch hat

Ursaluna wearing a witch hat

Noibat wearing a headband

Noivern wearing a headband

Just in time for Halloween, October 31 in Pokemon GO will grant costumed Pokemon a small chance to give Rare Candy or Rare Candy XL when caught with Nice Throws or better. 

In another treat, Pokemon GO players on October 31 will also see an Increased chance to encounter Shiny costumed Pokemon in raids.

Pokemon GO Trainers that reach the following Major Milestones on their GO Pass: Halloween 2025 will be able to unlock the following bonuses:

Tier 1

2× Catch Candy

GO Pass Deluxe: 3× Catch Candy

Tier 2

Increased chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL for catching Pokémon with Nice, Great, and Excellent Throws

Tier 3

2× Candy for transferring Pokemon

Increased chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL for transferring Pokemon

GO Pass Deluxe: 3× Candy for transferring Pokemon

GO Pass Deluxe: Even greater chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL for transferring Pokemon
