Recorded at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Sixth Station Trio’s Zelda Classics is here to provide a sweeping chamber-style reinterpretation of music from the acclaimed The Legend of Zelda series.

Now available across all major platforms including Spotify, Bandcamp, and Apple Music, Sixth Station Trio’s Zelda Classics features 16 arrangements for piano, cello, and violin that set out to strike a delicate balance between softness and power.

The trio’s pianist Katelyn Tan commented the following:

“Zelda Classics is our way of bridging our passion for videogame music with our passion for classical music.

We want to encourage more people to get into classical music, and we hope blending chamber music with videogame music allows listeners to hear their favorite tunes done in a classical style and seek out more. 

We carefully crafted each arrangement so that there were musical elements that stayed true to the original pieces, but also included aspects that were influenced by our classical backgrounds and training. 

I had the most fun arranging ‘Horse Riding’ from Breath of the Wild and hope listeners enjoy this and all the arrangements on the album.”
