A top-down 2D open world space RPG, Corefun Studios has unveiled their new title Solar Echoes: Star Fated.
Set within the Solar Echoes universe, Solar Echoes: Star Fated will have players piloting the starship of the criminal commander Asteron. As it turns out, Asteron is on the run with a stolen alien artifact, and all the major galaxy factions are hunting him down!
As players contend with the Black Stars crime syndicate, the Union Guard, and countless bounty hunters and pirate gangs, Solar Echoes: Star Fated will let players take part in real-time top-down ship combat and more than 750 equipment items.
Tread lightly, however – its world reacts to player choices.

Corefun Studios Developer Andy said the following:
“For every Solar Echoes story I’ve written, I ask: what forged this character?
Asteron was always one of the most compelling figures in the lore.
Star Fated is his origin story — and the first time players get to experience the Solar Echoes universe from the criminal’s side.”
