Aiming for (even more) global domination, CookieRun: New World, CookieRun: Crumble, and CookieRun: Kingdom – Chapter 2 were unveiled during the recent CookieRun DevNow Showcase.
Serving as the franchise’s most ambitious title to date, CookieRun: New World will transport players to a time set after the era of the legendary Five Heroes.
From there, CookieRun: New World will follow a grand journey across the Cookie continent as a mysterious darkness returns.
Developed in Unreal Engine for mobile, PC, and console, the title is targeting a 2029 release to coinciding with the franchise’s 20th anniversary.
Also announced during the CookieRun DevNow Showcase was the casual CookieRun: Crumble that will launch in the second half of this year. Pulling from the idle RPG and casual mobile genre, CookieRun: Crumble is set to deliver an accessible, relaxed gameplay experience.
The next major story era for the series was unveiled at CookieRun DevNow Showcase with the announcement of CookieRun: Kingdom – Chapter 2.
Launching in May, this new arc will focus on a catastrophic event that fractures the world’s timeline that sparks a war across multiple timelines.
A new playable region will also make an appearance as part of CookieRun: Kingdom – Chapter 2, accelerating the game’s main story cadence from every four weeks to every two weeks.
Finally, CookieRun: Kingdom is also set to feature a K-Pop Demon Hunters collaboration in April.
