The Bias List is a K-pop blog that also covers a fair amount of J-pop. But just like most music fans, I enjoy tracks from all around the world. So, I thought I’d start a monthly round-up of some of the non-K-pop songs that have caught my ear. No ratings — just highlights!

ADÉLA – KGB
I didn’t love this the first time through but the second time got me. The beat goes hard.
Anyma – Beautiful (ft. Joji)
This is a bit frictionless in some ways, but the thumping percussion supports the melancholic melody so well. I love the production.
Ava Max – Out Of My Mind
Her Queen (as in, Freddie Mercury Queen) era intrigues me. I love dance pop with a hefty dose of theatrical guitar, so we’ll see how this goes.
Bebe Rexha – Hysteria
This might actually be my favorite of her new songs so far. Yeah, it uses the same sample as BLACKPINK’s Jump, but it does some fun things with it.
Chloe Jane – Middle Man
A nice dose of chugging synthpop.
Da Buzz – Give Yourself To Me
The dance icons prove they’ve still got it.
Dolly Style – Mayday
They’re usually too kiddie for me but this chorus is massive.
El Papi – Jag Kommer
I really like this style of boppy Scandinavian indie rock. It feels so nostalgic.
Ellen Benediktson – Jealousy
I really enjoy that rhythm guitar.
Emei – Night At The Opera
This verges on being a bit too much at points but is mostly a ton of theatrical fun.
Fast Boy – Beautiful Life
This has a nice anthemic heft to it. It reminds me of early-2010s indie dance pop.
Hidden Hands – Sunset Love
A super solid dance track with retro synth touches.
Hogland – Love You Loud (ft. Philip Strand)
I just love this kind of big, thumping club track and always will.
KeiiNO – Indigo Night
Another soaring dance pop anthem from masters of the craft.
Lady Gaga & Doechii – Runway
I’m having to separate this from being a Gaga song to full enjoy it in its Drag Race esque glory, but it’s fun enough I suppose. I wish it didn’t sound like Gaga was singing from the bottom of a well.
Lil Ghost – Saturday Night
I wrote about this here, but wanted to include it in the round-up in case you missed the main review because it’s one of 2026’s best songs.
Madison Rose – Superpower
Not my favorite tempo/energy from her, but you know I’ll always highlight a new Madison Rose track.
Madonna – I Feel So Free
The queen of pop is back with a teaser of her new album! This is more mood/intro than proper song, but I liked the duet she performed with Sabrina Carpenter last night and the general vibe of this album feels very promising.
Magdalene – P*rn In The USA
Clever title. Fun song.
METTE – Coming Of Age
She’s serving the full meal with this chugging dance anthem. I love the slight ABBA undertones.
MUNA – Wannabeher
My favorite of the new MUNA songs so far. I appreciate how it sounds a bit different from their usual fare.
Neea River – Closure
Her best song in awhile. It has that cathartic drive she’s so great at portraying.
Robyn – Really Real
My favorite new track from her album. That fractured guitar solo is so cool.
Silence Wang – Fěn xuànfēng
The best McDonalds CF song ever? I mean… is there any actual competition for that?
Slayyyter – $t. Loser
My favorite new track from her very solid new album. The stomping beat is so addictive.
Tsatsamis – Angelina
A nice little electro bop.
