The First Descendant dev team and NEXON have revealed key details from their recent Descendant Fest 2026 livestream, including a Season 4 World Premiere Trailer, a Creator Roundtable, and more.
Also making an appearance is The First Descendant’s “Void Intercept Battle: Extreme” update, which will have the existing Hard Difficulty Intercept Battle and Void Abyss Intercept Battle merged together into one mode. Now subdivided into different difficulty tiers within this mode, it will also include an additional difficulty level providing a higher degree of challenge.
Meanwhile, Season 4 Episode 1 of The First Descendant will introduce a Mega Dungeon larger than existing dungeons and more diverse level elements and interactive environments. Players can also experience a decisive battle against Karel that will provide a cinematic experience.
