There are multiple unique crew members you can hire in Windrose, each bringing a unique skill to aid your crafting at camp. In this guide, we list all the crew members we found, their traits, and their price.
Rosalinda Mercer
Rosalinda is a fantastic addition to your crew. She brings two powerful crafting bonuses. Master Bottle Maker (which doubles Clay Bottle production) and Talented Alchemist (which provides a 30% bonus to craft additional Elixirs). Clay Bottles are a vital component for healing supplies later in the game, so she’s well worth recruiting.
She can be found in Tortuga and costs 500 Piastre.
Jasper Crowe
Jasper Crowe is another very strong addition to your crew, offering a 30% chance of returning materials when upgrading armor at camp.
Jasper Crowe can also be found in Tortuga and will join your crew for 500 Piastre.
Black Axel
Food plays a huge role in Windrose, so having access to a skilled chef is a massive help. Black Axel has a 30% chance to craft an additional meal every time you cook. This includes cooking multiple of the same dishes.
Black Axel will join for 500 Piastre and can be found at the People of Tortuga’s main camp (this is not on Tortuga, it was a nearby island for us).
Mortar Joe
Mortar Joe is one crew member you will want to wait until later to recruit. His 30% chance to craft additional Gunpowder is another great trait, but you won’t gain access to Gunpowder until the later stages of the game.
He can be recruited for 500 Piastra and can be found at Brethren of the Coast main base.
