Goblin Vyke: The Thief Tycoon Launching April 30

Letting players be a cunning merchant by day and a sneaky thief by night, Art Thieves and Gamersky Games’ Goblin Vyke: The Thief Tycoon will release on Steam on April 30.

Blending together stealth heist gameplay with shop management, this 2D side-scrolling title lets players control the titular Vyke the Goblin as they set out to become an influential black market tycoon.

Merchant by Day, Thief by Night! “Goblin Vyke: The Thief Tycoon” Set to Launch on April 30th

Game Producer Lindro Zhang said the following:

“Over the two years of making this game, I started to feel like a goblin myself — every time I saw a great design in another game, I couldn’t help but stop and study it, pull it apart, and figure out why it worked.

Every time I thought the game was good enough, I’d find one more thing I wanted to polish, one more idea I wanted to squeeze in. 

I think that’s greed at its best. 

This is our first game as a three-person team, and I’m sure there are rough edges, but every mechanic that made it into the final build is there because we played it ourselves and genuinely couldn’t stop.”
