Nexon and Blizzard Entertainment have announced that registration and account linking has opened for the transfer to Nexon’s service of Overwatch on PC in Korea.
This new service of Overwatch is scheduled to launch August 12 to coincide with Overwatch’s Season 4.
Junghun Lee, President and CEO of Nexon, said the following:
“Registration is now open and excitement is growing for the August 12 start of Nexon’s service of Overwatch® on PC in Korea,
The Nexon team has been working closely with Blizzard to provide a service that enhances the Overwatch® experience through Nexon’s best-in-class live operations and hyperlocalization.”
Walter Kong, SVP, Head of Development, Live Games/Mobile of Blizzard Entertainment, also said the following:
“Opening registration is an exciting step forward as we approach the August launch of Nexon’s service for Overwatch® on PC in Korea.
