Celebrating the first appearance of Elder Dragon Velkhana, the 2026 Monster Hunter Now Summer Hunt event will kick off July 20.
Running from July 20 to July 26 in Monster Hunter Now, Velkhana is set to be the only elder dragon. Note that it will appear at Elder Dragon Interception points for all Hunters, regardless whether one has purchased a paid ticket.Â
During this time, Elder Dragon Interceptions are set to occur more frequently at Hunt-a-thon / Elder Dragon Interception points.
In addition, when Hunters are invited through Friend Link, they’ll be able to participate in an Elder Dragon Interception – even if far away from an Interception point.Â
New riftborne monsters Bishaten and Lagombi are also set to arrive, and Special Summer Hunt Tickets will be available each day.
