Originally going by the codename “Project RX,” NEXON announced that FAREIDOLIA will make a playable appearance at September’s Tokyo Game Show.
Developed by IO division (Blue Archive), FAREIDOLIA is a new anime-style game featuring an immersive story, a distinctive cast of characters with high-quality 3D graphics in Unreal Engine 5, and a variety of different lifestyle content.
Making its debut at Tokyo Game Show 2026, FAREIDOLIA will feature a playable demo at Makuhari Messe (Mihama Ward, Chiba City) at the NEXON booth, located in Hall 7-C04.
All Tokyo Game Show attendees will find the FAREIDOLIA booth zone there, one that faithfully recreates its setting of “Tasogare Hall.” Attendees will also encounter Minieh, Ohana, Shami and Elevator Girl while there!

“FAREIDOLIA is set in Anima City, a world that resembles our own yet feels subtly different.
We wanted to capture the story of discovering familiarity within that new world while forming bonds along the way, which led us to the title FAREIDOLIA.
We also wanted players to feel genuinely close to the Mates, sharing a look and a moment together, and that’s what we’re bringing to life at Tokyo Game Show.”
