South Town’s resident dancing king – the one and only Duck King! – will join SNK’s Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves on August 27.
A fan-favorite character, see how the feathers will fly with our Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Duck King preview…
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Duck King Preview
Blending together stylish dance moves with martial arts, Duck King keeps things lively as he brings the hits.
Keeping to the rhythm, Duck King uses his dance moves to chain attacks of different shapes and sizes.
Don’t be fooled into thinking this mohawked fiend is a one-hit wonder type of fighter, oh no.
Rather, Duck King’s moveset in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves lets players follow up each attack with an oh-so-satisfying “one, two, I’m here!” that never gets old.
When properly utilized, Duck King is able to take advantage of his speed with high-low mixups that force fighters to be on the offensive. While these fast-paced Rush attacks can very well leave Duck King vulnerable due to a poor read, those that master his unique style can get that Combo meter number up as they Get Down.
For those who want a quick burst of speed, Duck King can barrel forward with his Head Spin Attack that can then be followed up with a Ground Finish. He can also take to the air (as a bird does) with his Flying Spin Attack that can then be followed up with an Air Finish if one so chooses.
Do note that Duck King can also take advantage of a number of Backstep moves in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves that provide distance and force opponents to have a bad read of their own.
Bringing the moves to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Duck King’s mixture of martial arts and dancing will let players Get Down as they throw down in South Town.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via both Steam and the Epic Games Store) – learn more via its official website.
